Conor Williams: Inequities of the American Education System
Start Date: 5/11/2021Start Time: 7:00 PM
End Date: 5/11/2021End Time: 8:15 PM

Event Description
Join us as we welcome Conor Williams, a Fellow at The Century Foundation, a leading think tank in Washington, DC. Dr. Williams will discuss inequities in the U.S. education system. Specifically, he will address the marginalization and displacement of English learners from dual language immersion programs. He sees that as an illustration of how a number of the racial, socioeconomic, and other privileges work in urban educational access. Q&A with Dr. Williams will follow.
