Event Description

Ever wondered how Discord bots like Apollo, Groovy, and MEE6 work? Want to learn more about Python APIs? Then this workshop is for you. In this workshop we will review object oriented programming with Python by tackling the challenge of creating our own Discord bot.

We will navigate through the Discord API and build our own (simple) Discord bot from the ground up. From setting up a Discord development account to running the bot itself, this workshop will walk you through all the basics you need to create your very own Discord bot.
