Please join Task Force Dragon, Drexel’s Army ROTC program, the Office of Veteran Student Services, Drexel Veterans Alumni Network (DVAN) and the Office of Alumni Relations for Drexel’s 10th Annual Memorial Day Primer remotely. This campus tradition pays tribute to those servicemen and women who have lost their lives in service through the sharing of history, stories, music, patriotism and military protocol. This year’s event, themed, “All Gave Some and Some Gave All” will focus on the courageous commitment our fellow Americans have made in service to our nation. We recognize the true sacrifice of some and the healing for those who continue to honor these patriots no longer with us. Anne Converse Willkomm, Assistant Dean in the Graduate College and Assistant Clinical Professor and Department Head in Goodwin college will be speaking about her family’s military service during WWII. As part of her discussion, she will read from a novel-in-progress about her father’s journey into the underground after his plan was shot down over Germany.
