Event Description
For the First Time, Our Congress Will Be Virtual
The 7th Vision 2020 National Congress will convene around the theme “Leveraging Our Power for Positive Change” on June 15-16, 2021. It will be the largest and most impactful Congress as well as the first to be a hybrid virtual event, with portions of the program open to the public. The final act of this Congress will be the announcement of a bold new agenda to complete the unfinished business of gender equality. Learn about the program schedule by following the link below.
Vision 2020’s national leaders, professional team and special guests will host the Congress via livestream from the lobby of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, where Vision 2020’s acclaimed “Seat at the Table” exhibition was installed immediately prior to the COVID-19 shutdown. The public will be invited to join the Congress for a special virtual tour of the exhibition led by curator Page Talbott to gain insight on progress toward gender equality 100 years after women won the right to vote.
Since 2010, Vision 2020 has been convening its Delegates and leaders of its Allied Organizations at National Congresses in different locations around the country. At these high-energy gatherings, participants share important information, develop strategies and measure progress toward political, economic and social equality. Each Congress also strengthens connections among the participants and sparks collaborations for collective impact.
Portions of the program are open to the public.
