MERHG Colloquium: Chilling Effects for Immigrant Families Around Changes to the Public
Start Date: 6/4/2021Start Time: 11:00 AM
End Date: 6/4/2021End Time: 12:00 PM

Event Description
Join the Migration, Ethnicity, Race and Health Group (MERHG) for a Colloquium featuring Hamutal Bernstein, PhD, Principal Research Associate, and Dulce González, Research Associate, both from the Urban Institute.

Many immigrant families have suffered significant economic hardships and health impacts during the COVID-19 crisis and faced barriers to participation in safety net programs or other supports. New evidence will be shared on the persistence of chilling effects during the COVID-19 crisis using recent survey data on low-income immigrant families’ experiences.
