Learning Objectives
- Discuss ways to approach substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) patients, from a compassionate, whole person perspective
- Examine the role of stigma as a deterrent to your patients’ care and recovery from substance use disorder (SUD)
- Identify principles of trauma informed care in the context of working with pregnant people with SUD or OUD
