Event Description
Learn how Drexel researchers systematically explored issues related to the outbreak of COVID-19 during the Libraries’ 2020/2021 ScholarSip event series.
This term, we are excited to welcome guest speaker Esther Chernak, MD, MPH, FACP, Associate Clinical Professor & Director of the Center for Public Health Readiness and Communication at Drexel.
During her session Communicating with Special Needs Families During Public Health Emergencies, Professor Chernak will summarize findings from a mixed methods study into the content needs and preferred information sources and channels of families with Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) during infectious disease emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, and other disasters.
All Drexel faculty, professional staff, students and members of the public are invited to join us remotely for what promises to be a lively conversation with colleagues.
