Learning Objectives

  • Discuss the history of the development of telepsychiatry and its emerging models of care (integrated care, team‐based approaches, asynchronous care) and how these can support the dynamically evolving psychiatric care delivery system
  • Identify COVID impacts on the practice of telepsychiatry
  • Apply how telepsychiatry can be leveraged to address inherent health care disparities that have become starker in the context of the COVID emergency
