Experience the magic of spring migration with Academy ornithologists!

Meet us at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge for the first of two spring migration bird walks with Jason Weckstein, PhD, and George Armistead.

Dr. Jason Weckstein is the Academy’s Curator of Ornithology and an associate professor in Drexel University's Biodiversity, Earth & Environmental Science (BEES) department.

George Armistead is an associate of the Academy of Natural Sciences where he helped to curate the photographic and specimen collections. He leads wildlife experiences around the world as founder of Hillstar Nature and is the author of Better Birding: Tips, Tools, and Concepts for the Field and American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of Pennsylvania.

Registration is required.
