Event Description Every Tuesday in April from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, head over to Lancaster Walk for Teal Tuesday! Specific events listed below:
April 4: Join EIC as they show support for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Stop at one of the tables on Lancaster Walk or by the Mario Statue to grab a teal ribbon and support awareness of sexual violence in our communities, our country, and our world. Remember: It’s impossible to help stop an issue without raising awareness the issue exists.
April 11: Join the sister of Sigma Psi Zeta and EIC to learn more about being an active bystander towards sexual violence in Drexel our and Philadelphia communities. Come by the table wearing your teal ribbon and you’ll not only receive a small token of appreciation, but you’ll be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card!
April 18: Join Drexel Student Athletes and EIC as they show support for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Stop by to grab a t-shirt and learn more about making boundaries and stating consent. Plus, share how YOU enthusiastically say “Yes!”
April 25: Come talk Denim Day with EIC! Denim Day is Wednesday, April 26. Stop by to grab a Denim Day ribbon, learn more about what Denim Day is, how it’s helped bring awareness to sexual violence, and how YOU can help spread that awareness in a simple yet impactful way on the 26th.
