Event Description
Laurie Besden, Esq., Executive Director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) of PA (http://www.lclpa.org/), will be available for virtual one-on-one sessions with Kline Law students on Tuesday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom. Interested students should email her directly at: laurie@lclpa.org and she will send you a Zoom link.
Laurie offers confidential, discreet, and private sessions to discuss any type of addiction, alcohol issues, mental health disorders, gambling, stress, or depression– about students or your friends or colleagues. She will provide literature and other resources to address any ethical or bar application-related questions. All communications are confidential, and there is no record of the time with her. Other than arranging Laurie’s time, no member of the law school administration is involved.
LCL is a non-profit, completely confidential resource that helps lawyers and law students who are dealing with issues related to alcohol, drugs, depression, and other serious emotional challenges. Left untreated, these conditions will sabotage a student's law school performance and jeopardize their admission to the bar. If you or someone you care about has any related concerns, please schedule a confidential chat with Laurie. |
