Event Description
Black Girls STEAMing through Dance (BGSD) engages black girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math-related activities. We combine coding, design, and dance to motivate young black girls in the West Philadelphia community to explore STEAM skills and connect with their bodies.
 
Through dance, designing, and coding activities, the girls experience STEAM in a culturally-responsible environment that encourages them to cultivate their STEAM identities.
 
Classes are open for ages 7 to 12 and begin October 5th from 4:30-6pm. Register now with the link below:
