KEEN 101: What is KEEN and as a Faculty member, how can I benefit from it?
Start Date: 11/29/2022Start Time: 11:30 AM
End Date: 11/29/2022End Time: 12:30 PM

Event Description
Join Dean Walker for a brown bag lunch workshop about free teaching resources!

The Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN), a program of the Kern Family Foundation, empowers the rising generation of Americans to build flourishing lives anchored in strong character, inspired by quality education, driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, and guided by the desire to create value for others.

Dr. Jennie Atchison (MEM) and Johanna Casale (ELS) will introduce you to the Kern Family Foundation’s engineering education website Engineering Unleashed.com, where you can find lesson plans and other resources to help you build your courses or add content to support active learning to existing courses.

We will explore how to inspire curiosity, facilitate making connections, and ultimately create value through the Engineering Mindset.

This is a hybrid event, taking place simultaneously both in person and on Zoom. Registration required.
