Event Description Nov. 8 - 17: Kirié and Kimono Making with Kubo Shu
Artist Kubo Shu is widely recognized for reviving kirié, the centuries-old art form of paper cutting that results in works so sharp and intricate, it’s hard to believe they’re made of paper. A Rankin Scholar-in-Residence, Kubo will present a series of pop-up demonstrations on the art of kirié and kimono making.
