Maternal and Child Health Symposium: The Importance of Data to Advance Maternal and Child Health

Event Description

The 10th Annual Drexel Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Symposium will explore the importance of data in maternal and child health and how different types of data collection strategies and research methods are used to advance MCH outcomes.

Discussions throughout the morning will highlight the importance of large state and national MCH data sets, rich qualitative MCH data, and data from community-engaged research. Attendees will learn about innovative data collection strategies and hear examples of how data is used to inform practice and policy.

The symposium focuses on how data, in its various forms, is a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, advocates, and families interested in understanding and advancing maternal and child health.
