Spend your summer at the Academy! Discover how scientists use art to help observe, elevate and educate about the natural world.

Search for hidden fossils in a Dinosaur Hall scavenger hunt. Explore the miniature world of insects at an interactive cart featuring live arthropods and much more!

Activities include:

  • Meeting one of the Academy’s slithery, scaly or scute-y live animal ambassadors.
  • Make and take a bird-themed project of your own.
  • Use cutting-edge technology to explore the miniature world of everyone’s favorite backyard bugs at an interactive cart featuring live arachnids, insects and myriapods.
